Our story
Made by hand in Nepal, worn in Aotearoa.
Threads of Everest is a small family business bringing naturally sourced, handmade goods from Nepal to New Zealand.
Where it's made
Everything we sell is made in Nepal by makers we work with directly — from hand-woven hemp bags and crochet pieces to patchwork trousers, cotton jackets and hemp shoes. Much of it is stitched in small workshops using techniques handed down through families, which is why no two pieces are ever quite identical.
What it's made of
We choose natural fibres first: wool, cotton and hemp rather than synthetics. Hemp in particular grows quickly with little water, is strong and breathable, and softens with every wash.
Handmade
Made by hand in Nepal, supporting local artisans and traditional craft.
Naturally sourced
Natural, sustainably sourced materials rather than synthetic alternatives.
Checked by us
